LifeShield offers smoke and fire protection standard with every package, at no additional charge. They also manufacture their own equipment, giving LifeShield complete control of the quality.
The LifeShield base station located in your home provides 3 layers of protection—broadband Internet, cellular signal, and landline phone. By connecting to LifeShield’s 24/7 monitoring in a variety of ways, you’ll enjoy remarkably fast response times that will connect you to a monitoring center in a matter of seconds. Even if your Internet goes out or your phone line is somehow cut, you’ll stay connected to security professionals.
Every LifeShield security package includes remote access so that you can control your home security system through a smartphone or other web-enabled device like your wireless touchpad. By using the free LifeShield mobile app, you can arm or disarm your security system, change system codes, manage your advanced video monitoring settings, view video snapshots, and set up and receive custom notifications and alerts.
Thanks to the LifeShield wireless Fire-Safety Sensor, help will arrive in the case of a fire-related emergency whether or not you’re home. LifeShield’s proprietary system listens in on the sounds produced by your existing smoke and CO detectors. The sensor sends a signal for help to a monitoring center when your existing detectors are triggered. This whole-home fire protection is free and you don’t even need to replace your existing fire and CO equipment for it to work effectively.
With many security system companies, you must own your home in order to qualify for a security system. However, LifeShield offers a package specifically tailored to renters. You get a free security system with the purchase of monthly monitoring and an activation fee. And, because of the kit’s easy DIY setup (usually less than an hour), you can readily take your home security system with you to your new place of residence when you move.
LifeShield wireless cameras are inconspicuous and sleek, and easily blend into any background. Because there’s no need to drill holes in your walls and there’s no excess wires to mask, installation is fairly simple. Also, you can set up video recording to begin on certain dates and times like when you’re on vacation, or when a motion sensor is triggered. Custom alerts also allow you to adjust your camera and its settings on-the-go.

What a bunch of crooks. Look elsewhwere for your security needs. Extremely rude Customer Service reps. We got our system and had a 3 yr contract. We finished our contract with monitoring after 3 years and wanted to cancel the monitoring portion. They told us we had to return the equipment after paying for it for 3 years and was told initially that it was ours after the 3 yr contract. They cut the monitoring off and disabled the equipment so we could not even use the alarm system without monitoring. Stay away from them unless you like renting equipment and then being responsible for shipping it back after your contract. What a scam of a company, please look elsewhere for your alarm needs.
We have had their service since 2012.we suspended it for a few months and then reinstated it. They billed us, but never reinstated the alarm system to the main office. No offer of credit or justification. This is a scam company. Don't waste your money
wonderful! 5 Stars!
