Last week a carjacker was caught on camera in Midtown Atlanta. According to Channel 2 Action News (video below), Brad Edmonds was outside his home the evening of Oct 7 when an armed man approached him, demanding the keys to his Mercedes.

The suspect forced Edmonds back into his home, where Edmonds then locked himself in his bathroom and yelled for a friend to call for help. The suspect found the keys to the luxury car and hit a garbage can and gate before making a getaway.

Thanks to the victim’s security system, the police now have clear video of the suspect to make an arrest. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the car has since been recovered and Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
