Frontpoint monthly monitoring fee

Frontpoint has multiple payment options, but you have to order your system over the phone to access the no-contract or 2-year plans. If you're okay with a 3-year contract, you can order online.

Frontpoint's plans vary not only in length and monthly cost, but also in terms of payment methods (debit, credit, or ACH) and product discounts. Even though this plan information isn't on the Frontpoint website yet, you can trust it since it cam came to us directly from the company.

You get professional monitoring, the ability to control your system from anywhere in your house using the Frontpoint app, and Frontpoint ID Protect to protect your important data from identity theft.

With each plan, you get professional monitoring, video streaming, and smart home controls to integrate your system with your home automations. Frontpoint's plans are on the pricier side, but you get the added benefit of identity protection, which no other home security system offers.

(ADT does sell identity theft protection as a separate service, but it's a free perk with Frontpoint. Learn more about Frontpoint vs. ADT.)

Note that if you choose to pay through a credit or debit card, there's an extra $3 transaction charge each month.

Frontpoint cancellation fees and warranty

Everyone hates hassles and extra fees. Luckily, Frontpoint is very customer-friendly with plan cancellation and warranties.

If you decide Frontpoint isn’t right for you, no problem. You can cancel Frontpoint's professional monitoring plans at any time without any cancellation fees. If you have a contract, you may need to pay off your equipment before you can cancel.

All of Frontpoint’s equipment comes with a three-year warranty. If something breaks, customer service will send someone to fix it. If the device is beyond repair, you’ll get a replacement for free.
