The ADT Pulse® app is an example of the product innovation that’s made ADT monitored security one of the leaders in its industry. Whether you’re working from your home office or vacationing around the globe, the ADT Pulse® app gives you the power to control your home from any Internet-connected device.

The app is free and available for iOS and Android. To use the app, you must be an ADT monitoring customer and subscribe to ADT Pulse service. From security enhancement to home automation, here’s a run-down of the apps most exciting features.

View Remote Video

The ADT Pulse® app lets you watch secure, real-time video of the camera-monitored areas of your home. It also gives you the power to take a picture or capture a video clip. With remote video monitoring, you can do things like see who’s at the front door before you open it, or check on your sleeping baby, right from your smartphone, laptop or other web-enabled device. If you take care of elderly or disabled loved ones, you’ll feel good knowing the app allows you to easily check in on them throughout the day.

Arm or Disarm Your System

Use ADT Pulse® and you won’t have to jeopardize your home’s security by giving out your security code. The ADT Pulse® app lets you remotely check the status of your home’s security system and enjoy the convenience of arming or disarming the system from wherever you’re located. With ADT monitoring, you’ll always know when someone enters or leaves your home, which will give peace of mind to working parents and those taking care of elderly relatives. A graphic overview of your home also makes it fast and easy to find out which doors and windows are armed or disarmed.

The ADT Pulse® app offers a number of exciting features, but it’s also easy to use. Streamlined and intuitive, the app uses simple graphics to give you a quick overview of your home’s security status. Every time you sign in to the app, your smartphone synchronizes with your ADT Pulse® service and provides you with alarm updates and automatically downloads any pictures or video clips that were captured since you last signed in. A tab bar at the bottom of the home screen allows you to navigate through the app. Tabs include security and cameras, with some other tabs included under the “More” tab.

With the ADT Pulse® app, homeowners can control their homes like never before and help keep a close eye on the people and things that matter to them most.
